This fashion show for the brand Rui embodies pieces of her 2019-2021 collections. Inspired by her organic body knits, subverting the ideal female body type. The set design encapsulates bold, fluid, sharp and soft elements with textile architecture, curved concave structures, and a streaming catwalk in the middle. The purpose is to reimagine the perception of western femininity, igniting women’s multidimensionality. Showcasing how delicate and strong do not oppose each other, thus expressing freely all that is within women – femme, masculine, tough, soft, vulnerable, delicate, and resilient.
